4 tips for a successful rendezvous

Last week we covered how to know if it is strictly a hookup. And we understand there are some daters out there that are not looking for a serious relationship but simply a hookup. We get it! Summer is here and between work, travel, and enjoying the sun there might not be enough time to focus on a serious relationship.

Well here are our 4 tips on having a successful, shall we call it a rendezvous!

  1. Set expectations. If you are strictly looking for a hookup it’s best to set expectations. The worst thing you could do is meet someone looking for a relationship and they end up with hurt feelings. In the very beginning it’s important to set expectations and be open and honest.
  2. Have fun. Hookups should be fun and carefree. Let your partner know what excites you and spend time trying to explore those things.
  3. Be safe. No matter what you do or where you go, be sure safety is first. This means being safe in the bedroom, to being safe and using your judgement with your partner. We suggest meeting and hanging out before simply heading to hookup territory. And as always, remember If you don’t completely feel safe always go with your gut!
  4. Take it for what it is. This may sound harsh but it’s important. Don’t go into a hookup situation thinking it would be something different. Take it for what it is and enjoy it for what it is. Be honest with yourself. If you know you will eventually want something different, then honestly a hookup is not for you.

No matter what you are looking for be sure to be honest, direct, and most importantly have fun. If you are looking to meet someone new that professionally matches your hard work and medical expertise then be sure to create a profile on www.medprosmeet.com.
